    Font - It's my moms 60th birthday next week and she has been extremely happy the past 9 months as she has been working in an estate agents, which she has always wanted to do.

    Font - On Saturday at work she and another woman we're working in the office alone with absolutely piles of work to do that was left from the night before.

    Font - A man walks in and asks to be seen and the other lady said she would be with him in a minute. My mom then saw this interaction and carried on with her work.

    Font - After less than half a minute (allegedly caught on CCTV) the man walks out in a huff and makes a complaint.

    Organism - She only had her review the other week and they gave her a glowing review on how pleased they were with her and what an amazing job she was doing.

    Font - Appparently no disciplinary procedures are in place for people in the company for less than 2 years.

    Organism - Please, someone tell me that this arsehole can't get away with this, and the horrible fact my mom will have that on her record...she has never had this before in all of her working life and she doesn't deserve this!

    Font - If I had the spare money I'd take him to court as it's not right! She can't just walk in to another job she is nearly 60 years old, and has payments to make.

    Font - Unfortunately many unscrupulous employers rely on it not being worth your time to pursue them for the weeks notice that you are owed.
